BX172便携式气体探测器是可连续检测可燃气体浓度或者毒性气体的浓度的检测设备。它适用于防爆，有毒气体泄漏，地下管道或矿井等场所，能有效保证工作人员的生命安全不受侵害，生产设备不受损失。

BX172便携式气体探测器采用大屏幕白色背光液晶显示，泵吸式取样检测气体，并配合不同的取样探杆，方便测试不同场合的气体环境，可自由设定高低报警值（毒性气体的检测具有短时间平均加权值（STEL）和8h时间平均加权值(TWA)报警功能），可随时检查仪器的浓度，STEL和TWA值，检测极值等信息。用户也可以根据需要打开或关闭振动报警功能。仪器报警时伴随有声光报警信息和背光自动开启等信息，屏幕也会显示相应的提示信息，来帮助用户区别报警的种类。按键操作时或报警时背光自动打开，其他时间仪器会自动关闭背光；配合显示器的多种图标，使操作简洁明了，使用方便。
